A few Sundays ago, my buddy JP was preaching on the parable of the friend at midnight. It’s about being persistent in your petitions to God for what you need. Before I was aware of what JP was preaching, I had a really cool experience of answered prayer. JP and I talked about it on a Monday morning, and that next Sunday he used this video that I made as an illustration in his sermon.

Recently, my best friend JP and his family were commissioned as missionaries to France by GEM International. I’m so proud of JP. We’ve been friends for more than half of our lives, and I couldn’t be happier that he is answering his calling so faithfully and persistently. I know they have a great adventure ahead of them in France.
