From Palm Sunday to Resurrection Sunday was easily one of the most emotionally difficult seven day stretches of my life. Holy Week for my little section of the world was characterized by death, grieving, tragic loss, families torn apart and in crisis, and stressstressstress.

A few Sundays ago, my buddy JP was preaching on the parable of the friend at midnight. It’s about being persistent in your petitions to God for what you need. Before I was aware of what JP was preaching, I had a really cool experience of answered prayer. JP and I talked about it on a Monday morning, and that next Sunday he used this video that I made as an illustration in his sermon.
